What is MP Residential?

We set out to think bigger and bolder about a residential solution that would support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and their families, indefinitely. Housing is an essential need for individuals with IDD. Inclusive housing is the key to both quality of life and equity for this community.

My Possibilities (MP) has long served the IDD community with its continued education and vocational support programs. MP is creating a first-of-its-kind solution for inclusive housing - Mission Hills, a 300-home neighborhood in Garland, TX. Mission Hills will provide a solution for 300-400 individuals with IDD and their families, and serve as an operational and financial blueprint that can be replicated throughout the United States.

MP Residential is the real estate development company for Mission Hills. Using a Universal Design approach, homes will suit both typical occupants and those with disabilities. 50 homes will be retained by MP and rented to individuals with IDD, and the remaining 250 homes will be sold to the public.

Current Position

The project has already secured the land.
The project has obtained key city consents for the housing development.
The management team has performed significant design work.
Traffic, Geotech, Conceptual and Final Floodplain, Tree, Environmental surveys have been completed.
The investment team has raised $6MM in interest in the guarantee fund for this project, out of a
$25MM requirement.
Inverdale, Good Returns, and Impact City have been operating the GIVS funds and guarantee procedures since 2018 to guarantee a number of impact projects in North Texas and internationally.
The team has identified multiple bank partners who are seeking guarantor interest.
